Stats & Abilities

Stats improve your hero's survivability and effectiveness in battle. Abilities are actions you proiritize on the hero page and that scale with stats.

Resource Stats

IconDescription
Health - Your hero's hit points. When this reaches 0, your hero may no longer act in combat. Requires gold to heal. Health reaching zero and losing the battle has other consequences as well
Mana - Used to cast magical abilities. Regenerates after the battle.
Energy - Powers physical abilities. Regenerates slowly during the battle.

Combat Stats

Attack - Heroic value for attack-scaling abilities.
Armor - Reduces incoming damage from attack-scaling abilities.
Move Speed - How often your hero can move in combat.
Attack Speed - How often your hero can use an action in combat.

Arcane Affinities

Arcane affinities are very similar to attack/armor values but scale with magical abilities. Each color of magic has different kinds of actions associated with it.

POW / RESDescription
White - Healing, holy damage, defensive buffs, some dispell.
Red - Battle magic. Direct elemental damage and offensive buffs. Martial weapons also often scale with red.
Green - Nature magic. Powerful buffs, some healing. Poison and rock damage.
Blue - Arcane. Countermagic, dispell, slows, polymorphs, direct lightning damage.
Black - Necromancy. Powerful debuffs, lifedrain, and undead minion spawn

Abilities

In version 1 launch, all abilities will come from equipped items. Items may grant more than 1 ability. This area is under heavy construction so we don't have anything pretty to show here


Abilities scale with stats - so a "whirlwind" might scale with both Attack and Red
